It’s not easy for them, they’re not one of those couples where it’s the perfect love story - and that’s more interesting to play. I think they’re meant to be together in a way. And even the audience sees she’s not meant to be with the traditional jock boy. She really does need someone a little more intellectual, someone who’s outside of her world and I think she finds that in Ryan. So ultimately, yes, they are meant to be together but he’s made a lot of mistakes and she’s made mistakes too. It’s gonna be a struggle, but at the end of the day they’re meant to be together but it’s not going to go so smoothly - Mischa.

dude, i knew this would happen, it’s like it starts out as this really cool, cult holiday, you know, flying beneath the cultural radar and then all of a sudden it crosses over, and then there’s too much pressure. i mean truthfully, can it really be the next thanksgiving? can it top halloween? the government, they’re gonna be asking me to create new holidays! seth, seth, what about eastover or quantishannah? we can’t let it happen.
